Day 01:


Early departure to Caño Blanco, the pier where you take the boat to the Tortuguero National park. En route we cross the famous Braulio Carrillo National Park, second largest in Costa Rica. A combination of three kinds of forests: rainy, humid and cloudy. At the end of the Braulio Carrillo we stop for breakfast. Then we continue to the pier to navigate on the canals and rivers until getting up to the lodge in the park. After lunch, departure to visit the typical village of Tortuguero and the Corporation for Turtle Conservation located in the village. Later we return to the lodge to enjoy the facilities of the property. Overnight at Pachira Lodge.


Day 02:


The adventure continues, this time by boat visiting secondary channels and creeks of the park. Great chance to see crocodiles and other reptiles, as well as 3 species of monkeys and other mammals, and a large number of species of birds among these the famous Toucan. Return to the lodge for lunch. In the afternoon you can visit on your own property trails or just relax taking advantage of the comfortable facilities of the lodge. At night, if in season (July to September) can hire by your own the famous night tour to see the nesting turtles. Overnight at Pachira Lodge.


Day 03:


After breakfast, departure to Caño Blanco dock, which is reached after an hour and a quarter, we board the bus towards to the restaurant El Ceibo Guapiles, located in Guapiles. After lunch comeback the the bus to travel back to San Jose.
